Important Terms About Tour Packages Tour packages make it easy for you to enjoy your vacation without spending lots of time planning. Tour and vacation packages often include prepaid meals, transportation and car rentals. Here are some terms to keep in mind before you buy a tour package.

• All Inclusive Tour - A package tour that includes most or all services you will need during your trip, including transportation, some meals, admission to events, airport transfers and other services. Many inclusive tours may not cover all events but a few of your choosing, because some free time is generally provided in the itinerary.
• Honeymoon Package - A vacation package designed for newlyweds on their honeymoon. A package may include romantic events such as a couples' massage and an upgraded hotel room.
• Tour Guide - An individual that offers detailed knowledge of an area you are touring. Tour guides often speak multiple languages and are adept at working between different cultures. You may have a tour guide for your entire trip, or different guides for each attraction.
• Tour Agent - A person who works with you to design your holiday or vacation. The agent will help you choose and book your tour or other vacation events.
• Special Interest Tour - A tour with locations and attractions designed to appeal to a certain subject or tourist spot. The tour guide offers in-depth, expert knowledge on the subject of interest.
• Itinerary - A precise schedule for vacations, holidays and tours. A tour guide or tour package company may design a detailed itinerary of all the events during your trip.
